A team of faculty, staff, and students from the UF College of Design Construction and Planning, 1000 Friends of Florida, Florida Conservation Group, and Bureau of Business and Economic Research recently received funding from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for an update to the Florida 2070 Project, originally created by faculty emeriti Dr. Paul Zwick and Peggy Carr in collaboration with 1000 Friends of Florida. The update will identify a set of future growth scenarios for the State of Florida, which incorporate future sea level rise and population growth projections by the year 2070.
