DOE Community Science Program Large Scale Call | April 10, 2025 (LOI)

The DOE Joint Genome Institute's (JGI) Community Science Program (CSP) is now accepting Letters of Intent for large-scale genomic science projects that fall broadly within the DOE mission and support efforts towards a sustainable bioeconomy. Of particular interest are proposals that address the following areas of emphasis and exploit the diversity of JGI capabilities:

Genes to Function
Plant and Algal Functional Genomics
Understanding natural communities important for carbon and other nutrient cycling, and climate resilience
Biofuels, biomaterials, and bioproducts
Viruses, mobile elements, and new lineages of life

Application Deadline: April 10, 2025 (Letter of Intent); May 6, 2025 (Full proposals, by invitation only)
