Applications are now open for the 2024 Future Leaders Climate Summit, an annual gathering of young climate leaders hosted by the Future Leaders Climate Initiative and the Energy & Environment Program at the Aspen Institute, in partnership with the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
Approximately 200 of the most diverse future leaders in the age range of 22-30 will be invited to convene in Miami Beach, FL from Saturday, March 9 to Monday, March 11 to discuss climate policy, innovation, communications, career development, and leadership. Applicants with an undergraduate degree or three years of experience related to climate change and sustainability issues are encouraged to apply.
The goal of the Summit is to build momentum for greater climate action in every corner of the earth, beginning with Future Leaders. The Summit has been designed to create and foster collaborative, innovative, and creative conversations among a wide variety of thinkers and leaders across the climate space. Collective success in the climate crisis depends on a robust exchange of ideas – an exchange that will be fueled by a rich diversity of perspectives, experiences, backgrounds, and opinions. To create this exchange, the Future Leaders Climate Summit is looking for diverse candidates, each who hold their own unique solutions to climate change, the greatest challenge of our time.
