My research interests focus on atmospheric organic compound transformation in both the air and the aerosol phase, atmospheric aerosol formation, atmospheric heterogeneous chemistry, interaction of atmospheric inorganics and organics, indoor chamber studies, outdoor chamber simulation, sampling method development and nanoparticle technology for exposure studies. In particular, the study of aerosol heterogeneous chemistry becomes a new pathway for the formation of secondary organic aerosol and has been extended to climate forcing effects of atmospheric organic aerosol. My researches have been also extended to health issue of atmospheric aerosol including a sampling device and health effects of airborne matter.
