Poster Session

To provide scientists a platform to present their work, there will be poster sessions throughout the day. Poster presentations play a key role in the success of the Annual Event and we would like to represent diverse climate research and latest results.

We invite you to submit abstracts for the FCI Annual Event: abstracts should not exceed 400 words, and must be submitted electronically using the on-line submission form no later than Friday, October 14, 2011. Due to limited space and the importance of representing diverse work, poster abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the Annual Event steering committee. The list of accepted posters was announced on Friday, October 21, 2011 via email.

Poster Specifications:

SET UP: Monday, November 14, 8:00 am - 10:00 am
REMOVAL: Monday, November 14, after 8:30 pm or Tuesday, November 15, before 5:00 pm
The staff will provide scissors, tape and push pins. Posters can be removed and stored by the staff – please let us know in advance.  
  • Posters will be limited to 4 feet high x 3 feet wide. Each poster will be assigned a number in advance so that you will know where to place your poster.
  • For authors presenting multiple posters, we make every attempt to position your posters within close proximity of each other.  
  • Space for the poster reception is limited. The poster boards are contiguous. Posters must be presented using the poster boards provided by the Conference. No electricity will be provided.
  • We encourage you to bring copies of your poster, informational brochures and business cards. Small tables will be available.
