I work on climate variability and change and human health. My previous work has examined climate and mosquito transmitted diseases (e.g. dengue and West Nile Virus), waterborne diseases, extreme heat, flu, and fungal diseases. I work with public health departments across the country.
The Florida Climate Institute (FCI) is a multi-disciplinary network of national and international research and public organizations, scientists, and individuals concerned with achieving a better understanding of climate variability and change.
