The majority of my work has focused on rainfall produced by tropical cyclones as they make landfall in the U.S. I have utilized both radar reflectivity and rain gauge data to quantify spatial patterns of convective and stratiform rainfall within these systems. I have also worked on projects examining both human and biophysical responses to landfalling hurricanes.
